An invalid address is not a blocker in our system. Our system uses a service to validate addresses and this system uses the USPS' database to validate. When entering an address the system looks for the Zip code, then based on the zip code it will list the available city within the zip code. Once those are selected, you enter the address. The system will suggest the address to you if the address is valid. The system will not do this if the address is not valid or if the address is copied and pasted into the box. The invalid address is not a blocker because there are times when either the service's or USPS' database is not current. Users will also have multiple units or lots within the address. The system works better when an address is validated and you are not able to import the address to the property section if it is invalid. However, to allow flexibility, we do not block a quote due to an invalid address.
