To Import the GL Property/Location details to the Property tab follow the below steps:

 

1. Ensure that the 'Property' line of business is selected in the "Package" Line of Business section.

 

 

2. Navigate to the Property Module by selecting the 'Property' tab located above the General Liability section

 

3. Click on the import from GL button to load Property 

 

• If you receive an error stating "Please give valid us address in GL to proceed with import", then return to the GL tab and ensure that your GL address is valid. If the "Address is Invalid" message appears then you will need to reenter the details. Please also Confirm the zip code and city (some Zip codes are connected to various City names so please confirm you are using the correct variation). Please also confirm the street address. Although some address terms can be used interchangeably, our verification system can be very particular when it comes to distinguishing a unit, suite and/or apartment number. Therefore using a number symbol (# 123 instead of Apartment 123) may appear invalid.

 

• If you have confirmed the street address and zip code/city variation; and still receiving an error then please reach out to the IT Support team by using the Small Business Agent Contact Form or emailing [email protected]. 

4. Once the import is complete, click on the Location Building Details bar (after the import button has changed from green to gray)

 

 

5. Review the system generated location risk details for accuracy 

 

6. If applicable, select the blue plus button under 'Action(s)' to add a new location 

 

7. Complete the details in the 'Buildings' section by selecting the 'Location' from the address drop-down, review the system generated building risk details for accuracy and then click on “save” button to store the details

 

8. Click on the 'Continue To Building Coverage' button and proceed to enter the coverage details
